Part 4: The Solar Internet

How will the people on Mars get the internet from Earth or send their data back to Earth in a timely manor? It takes 45 Seconds for a signal to go from Mars to Earth and another 45 seconds to go back to Mars. Round trip, we are talking about 1 Minute 30 Seconds. Sending signals the way they do on the internet today will not work. Why tell me this information? Was I handed over to the wrong person thinking I was someone else?



I am not sure if they wanted me to know about this internet. They will be able to send a signal with more data on it back and forth, speeding up the communications between planets. They will expand this internet to all of the planets in the solar system over time. This is not "Pie in the Sky." They are constructing this system now.

Going to Mars and working on the Computer Software Systems is what 5 year old David Tulloch is thinking about. 

Someone has to maintain the communications systems around the world as well as the weather systems. That means jobs for the people who know that this exist!

Nine Real NASA Technologies in 'The Martian'

I can remember in my preteen years, some of my neighbors told me that if God wanted man to fly he would have given him wings. Many of my friends did not want to go into the science fields because the Steel Mills will always be there and the man wanted us to go into these new things that do not pay any money.   

Today our Steel Mills are in China and everything we do and produce is High Tech. Because of this, many of the jobs that we have calls for using High Tech Education. 

David Tulloch learned to use his mother's cell phone while he was being breast fed at 1 years old. While being breast fed, he learned her password, how to get into the picture part of the phone, as well as how to call 911 and alert me as well. Nothing was wrong that he had to call 911 but he knew how to do it so he did it.  As he got older, he learned more about technology. 

At David's age, 5 years old, he knows that he has to do something to make a living 15 years from now. He talks about what he wants to do no matter if I think he will change later or not. I still give him information and encourage him to "go for it."

We know that other things have changed since 1812. The Battle Fields in New Orleans was above water. Now it is not. Many islands in the Pacific was above water. Now they are not. Does it matter if the climate changed? No, what matters is something has changed. People's lives are being affected. What are we as Humans going to do about it?

Part 3: The Solar System Internet Communication System

Crew of Space Shuttle Mission STS-122

Space Shuttle Endeavour lifts off on Mission STS-100, from Cape Canaveral, Fl.,  carrying a next-generation Canadian robotic arm to the International Space Station.



Most people know this part of NASA, a rocket lifting off at Cape Kennedy with a crew of Astronauts aboard. But they have thousands of people behind them, getting the space craft off the launch pad and into space. We no longer fly the space shuttle. To tell you the truth I don't think we should have flown this piece of junk anyway.


Soon US Astronauts will be flying something else. 


 

• Lockheed-Martin’s  Orion spacecraft. This vehicle is not a part of NASA’s new commercial efforts per-se; however it is commonly referred to as the orbiter’s successor. There are virtually no similarities between NASA’s fleet of decommissioned orbiters and this new spacecraft. Orion is capable of being re-used six times at most. Orion has no payload bay, no robot arm and if crews wish to conduct EVAs – the capsule will have to be depressurized, requiring the entire crew (Orion has the capacity of carrying up to six astronauts) to don their space suits. In fact, if the service module section of the spacecraft was two feet less in diameter – it could fit      inside of the shuttle’s payload bay. When Constellation was NASA’s program-of-record, there was an effort by Canada (the developers of many of the robotic arms NASA uses) to build a robot arm to be used on Orion.

• The Boeing  Company’s CST-100 Space Taxi. This spacecraft is in some ways a simpler  version of the Orion spacecraft. It can carry a crew of six, cargo (the  amount of cargo would vary depending on the number of astronauts on board. That is about all this vehicle is capable of. It is designed to ferry humans and materials to orbit – and back, it is not reusable and has no EVA capabilities. Although the exact size of the spacecraft is unavailable it is estimated to be larger than the Apollo spacecraft but smaller than Orion.

Of all the capsule-based systems that are under development, SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft is the most-similar to the space shuttle. However, the differences in scale, are dramatic. Image Credit: SpaceX / NASA

• SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft. In terms of basic abilities by the capsule-based systems – Dragon actually comes the closest to the shuttle in terms of capabilities. It is in terms of scale that the chasm of differences – appear. The dimensions of the payload segments work out to provide approximately 350 cubic feet of pressurized payload capacity. In terms of the spacecraft’s unpressurized elements, Dragon has about 4 cubic feet of recoverable and 490 cubic feet of non- recoverable payload capabilities. The Dragon is designed to carry up to seven astronauts.

In a break from what many commercial companies are producing (capsule-based spacecraft) - Sierra Nevada Corporation has opted for a space plane design. Like NASA's decommissioned orbiters, this space plane is reusable. Unlike NASA's retired fleet of shuttles however, the thermal protection system is ablative and will need to be replaced after ten flights. Image Credit: SNC

• Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Dream Chaser spacecraft. Physically the most similar of the space taxis to NASA’s space shuttle, the Dream Chaser space plane is reusable and is based off of one of test articles that was used to design the space capacity is. Unlike the shuttle, Dream Chaser will utilize an ablative thermal protection system that would require replacement after several flights. The Dream Chaser is not quite 30 feet in length compared the space shuttle’s 122 feet.

The one spacecraft that comes closest to emulating the space shuttle, Dream Chaser, is not even a quarter the length of NASA’s retired fleet of orbiters. It has no robotic arm and lacks the EVA capabilities present on the space shuttle. Given that most of these vehicles could actually fit into the orbiter’s payload bays – the capacity to launch huge payloads such as the Hubble Space Telescope and whole segments of the International Space Station – has been lost. It is unknown how long these multiple capabilities the U.S. will have to do without.

Space shuttle Discovery will be retired to the Smithsonian’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Washington. Atlantis will take a short road trip to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida and Endeavour will be sent to the California Science Center located in Los Angeles, California. The shuttle test article, Enterprise, will be moved to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum located in New York (Discovery will take Enterprise’s place in the Smithsonian).

Part 2: The Media and NASA Police

One of the first things that I do when going to something like this is to talk to the Police. Why do I do that because a lot of these people are Paranoid Schizophrenics. They shoot you, tackle you, or beat you before asking any questions. So I start with the local police, introduce myself and tell them why I am here. Most think I am crazy for talking to them but some appreciate it. 

Second, I talk to NASA Inspector Generals people. You never know how the police can help you out as you try to get information about NASA's projects.     

This lady was setting up with her camera people and stopped me while I was running around the main stage site. She was from FOX 5 in Washington DC. She made sure that I did not confuse her with the other National Fox Network. 

The problem is that I spend very little time in Washington watching TV. I felt bad because she reads my Alien Blogs. Later I found out why she was interested in me. She was thinking that the NASA Announcement had to do with what I write about.

I walked into the wrong building. It was restricted. Now the police could have been called. But I was on camera. Sandra Vilevac, Education and Public  Outreach Specialist  ASRC Inuteq of the Exploration and Space Communication Projects Division stopped me and ask me why was I hear? I told her the truth, I did not know. On the other side of the building was this long line to see one of the Control Rooms. She told me that she was going to give me a treat and took me back outside to this other building.

I don't know if Sandra thought that I could not "connect the dots or not" but the information that they were about to tell me was Chinese Based.

Part 1: The Welcome at Goddard Space Center

9:30 AM Saturday September 26, 2015.

The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md. 20771 ran an Open House. NASA started running out of food at the end of the day. They ran Shuttle Buses all day however, I heard people expressing there fears that everyone will not be able to leave before the Shuttle Buses leave for the day at 5:00 PM. They expected 10,000 people like they had 4 years ago. They got 10s of thousands of people. They were not prepared for such a large group.     



Pastor Brenda Grey, Pastor Myrtice Rhodes (Taking the Pictures), sister of Brenda was part of my group. Brenda's husband could not make it.

So let start looking at what got me so excited about what is going on in NASA. I left my little Group early and started visiting several departments at the center.

The National Space Club awards a $10,000 scholarship each year, in memory of Dr. Robert H. Goddard, America's rocket pioneer. Part 3: Free Union

My Father's Mother's (Susie Williams) family may have Africans (Benin) in it but that is from my older brother's DNA test. We will get to my father's family later in this series.

This area was first settled in the mid-18th century and became a part of Albemarle County in 1761. The village was originally referred to as Nicksville after a free slave blacksmith named Nick, who opened a blacksmith's shop there in the early 19th century. When a post office was established in 1847, it was given the name of Free Union to avoid confusion with Nixville, another post office in the county. The name was taken from that of the Free Union Church, which had been built in 1837 and is still operating as the Free Union Baptist Church. The church was "free" in that all races were welcome to worship there, and it was a "union" of four denominations of Christianity, none of which could have afforded a church of their own at that time. Free Union continued to be known as Nixville until the early 20th century, when the post office's name caught on. But my family called it Free Union as far back as I remember. 

Nick Brown was my Great Grandfather. But the Nick that is talked about here may have been a earlier ancestor. In our family until 1923 renamed our children with a common family name to identify who we are in our family.  On my family my grandmother was one of the last people named after an ancestor. Her is why Amanda Ann Williams III received a name that linked her back to people before slavery.

Not all blacks were slaves in Virginia before the Civil War. Virginia had the largest free black population in the United States. Many black families had been free there since the 1600s. For each eight slaves in the state, there was one free person of color. Some of the largest families had the surnames Cumbo, Driggers, and Goins. Many free people of color descended from black slave men who had children by white indentured servant women. Others were manumitted. This also can explain the first Lacey Brown's behavior. Free Union was a Free Black Reservation. 

Free Union is a census-designated place (CDP) in Albemarle County, Virginia, United States, ten miles north-northwest of Charlottesville. The population as of the 2010 Census was 193. It is a very small hamlet consisting of a private school (Free Union Country School), a doctor's office, a post office, a country store, a homebuilder, and several dozen homes. Otherwise it is entirely rural in character. A few miles north of this hamlet is a winery.



How did I know when to turn onto Uncle Joe's dirt road? I remembered this store but when I saw it, it was closed and looked like no one used it in years.

Part 2: Thinking about the First Lacey Brown 1803

I have been thinking about my relatives that lived over 200 years ago. On the Brown Branch in Orange County, Va. my cousin told me about Lacey Brown, a "Freed Man" that was born in 1803. He is about 5 generations away from me on my mother's father's side of the family, the Browns.


Now before we go on, a freedman or freedwoman is a former slave who has been released from slavery, usually by legal means. Historically, slaves were freed either by manumission (granted freedom by their owner) or emancipation (granted freedom as part of a larger group). A fugitive slave is one who escaped slavery by fleeing.

In the United States, the terms "freedmen" and "freedwomen" refer chiefly to former slaves emancipated during the American Civil War. Slaves freed before the war, usually by individual manumissions, often in Wills, were generally referred to as "Free Negroes."

In Louisiana and other areas of the former New France (especially before annexation to the US following the Louisiana Purchase), free people of color were so identified in French: gens de couleur libres. Many were part of the color community, well-established before Louisiana became part of the US. The community in New Orleans increased in 1808 and 1809, with a wave of Haitian immigrants after the Haitian Revolution. This strengthened the French-speaking community of free people of color.

Although the Emancipation Proclamation declared all slaves in states not under the control of the U.S. government to be free (i.e. the Confederacy), it did not end slavery in the Union states themselves. Abolition of all slavery (affecting four million people — not all of them of color) was accomplished as a result of the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution.

The Fourteenth Amendment gave ex-slaves full citizenship. The Fifteenth Amendment gave voting rights to adult males among the free people. The 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments are known as the "civil rights amendments", the "post-Civil War amendments", and the "Reconstruction Amendments".

To help freedmen transition from slavery to freedom, including a free labor market, President Abraham Lincoln created the Freedmen's, which assigned agents throughout the former Confederate states. The Bureau created schools to educate freedmen, both adults and children; helped freedmen negotiate labor contracts; and tried to minimize violence against freedmen. The era of Reconstruction was an attempt to establish new governments in the former Confederacy and to bring freedmen into society as voting citizens.

Cherokee Freedmen

The Cherokee Nation had allowed slavery before the American Civil War. After the U.S. abolished slavery, the Cherokee were required to allow freedmen full rights of citizenship in their society. This policy was later rescinded, resulting in a controversy within the modern Cherokee Nation, which continues. In the 21st century, the Cherokee Nation, and descendants of freedmen who were formerly owned by Cherokee tribesmen, are at odds over the rights of the freedmen to membership in the Cherokee tribes. (It is an issue because there are benefits that tribal membership grants.) Descendants of freedmen believe that emancipation granted them citizenship in the Cherokee Nation. This controversy is mainly in the Western Cherokee Nation, not the Eastern Nation.


Not unless one of my relatives have information otherwise, I believe that Lacey's Freedmanship came from the State of Virginia or by the owner's Will. My father's people or at least my father did not want to peruse his rights under Cherokee law.

The Near Death of My Father-in-Law

In 1972, I took my ex-wife down to see her relatives. I decided to do some genealogy work on the Brown Family in Charlottesville, the county seat of Albemarle County, Virginia. As I walked into the Hall of Records, I got the book of births of all the browns that was born in Albemarle County. I looked at my Father-in-law when he started sweating and started looking bad. I got him a chair and asked him if I needed to call the hospital.

He said no. So I asked him again what was wrong. He said you are looking at the Brown Family. I said, so, what is wrong with that. He told me that the Brown Family is his family. I told him so what, it is too late to worry about that now,

Being Politically Correct!

Depending on when in history you are talking about, you may or may not be "politically correct." I can remember a time when getting pregnant outside of marriage was a crime. You had to stand in front of the church and everything else. Today, girls say that they are pregnant and then say, "So what!"

Tracking down Lacey Brown business is hard. From the information given to me, Lacey will go away for days to see his White girl friends. (Does this sound familiar.) Then just show up at home again. I find this hard to believe because Lacey was not White. I think if this is the case, interracial laws would interfere with his life. As I said, I could be wrong about Lacey. I was not with him.

However, before 1865, Virginia needed many strong bodied slave. I hope the Brown Family can help me with this? What if Lacey was one of the people donating sperm to slave women and indenture White severance for a price?

The Story of Eliza Thorne (1865 to 2015)

Eliza Thorn  is one of the most famous of my ancestors and was the most resourceful slaves that I have ever studied in my family. She is reported to be half Cherokee and heard the emancipation proclamation on the court house steps in Culpeper, Va. when the Union troops moved in to the City in 1865.  

How  Slavery  Started

Please keep in mind, slavery started out as allowing people to work their way over to America. It became a slippery slope. It ended as an institution that allow people to own other people and their descendents forever.

In the Commonwealth of Virginia, the legislature created laws that govern how White Women, mixed children, and slaves were treated. Here are some of the laws as written and passed by the governor.

Virginia passed two acts in 1682 that combined Native Americans and Africans into one category as “negroes and other slaves.” Here is why my family placed Eliza Thorne as half Cherokee (Nationality). To them it means half Native American. No record was found that showed that Eliza's other half was all African or part. For example; being Cherokee and Sapi was mix breed. Being Cherokee and Nigerian was mixed breed as well. To the state they are all Negroes. To the local people, it may not be the same as the state.

Before I go on with Eliza Thorne, I want you to see what Ray Akins said about Ancient Native Americans. "When I was growing up as a child I knew my Grandparents were of Indian descent but like many Blacks I did not know the importance of that information and ignored my rightful heritage."

Discovering Eliza Thorne

After finding out about Eliza Thorne in the early 1970s from my Uncle Joe Blue (Blue is the Cherokee Klan that the Blue family came from),  I took a stand and told Eliza's story for the past 45 years.   This is what Uncle Joe told me after I found my way to his house. I had only been to his house one time at 7 years old and  from that memory, my wife Amanda Ann Williams (II in the Porter family) drove to his home in Central Virginia from West Mifflin, Pa. This is a 5 h 54 min (315.3 mi) trip just on memory. We did not have cell phones, PC or tablets, just maps to tell us how to get to a general area.

Upon seeing the picture of Eliza Thorne in his living room, he told me about Eliza coming out of slavery.  Uncle Joe said, "Eliza Thorne was a slave for Colonel Slaughter and his family.  If you stood in Clara and Tom Porter's Yard (Ann's mother and father) in 1970 and looked up the closest mountain, you could see a falling down structure. It was the mansion of Colonel Slaughter. This is where Eliza Thorn worked as a slave.  

Slaves had spare time and could do what they wanted  in that time.  Eliza was a carpenter. I seen the furniture that she made in Uncle Joes house and it was in perfect condition in the 1970s. She made a lot of money.  As proof, after the Civil War, she bought a Conestoga Wagon, a team of horses and drove down Rt. 29 South  to a place called Stony Point and settled in a place called "Free Union."   She moved with her sisters; Maria, Jane, and Violet.  Here she bought 11 Acres of land. She stayed here until she died.  Eliza had three husbands; the Thorns, West, and Walkers and had children by all three. Some of her descendants became Medical Doctors and specialist, others because administrators and Computer Technicians.  Yet some served in the US Military.

From Va. Slave to Jamaicans, here is how my line progressed from 1850 to 2015.

I usually stay away from people because I learned back in the 1970s that people do not like smart people. They like people who do not threaten them. When I speak, I usually speak back by knowledge. People do not like that. People like me do not go places. 

Corporations did not advance me because I am competent. I know others in the same situation today. Here is why Donald Trump tells the public that the people who work for governments in the US are incompetent. This is why the US and the states go from one disaster to another. People who can figure out what to do stay in the mail room or some entry level job. This is why the political people who know when to smile or know what parties to attend advance. 

I am not telling you this because I am piss off at the world. I am telling you this because you have been lie to by your governments; local, state, and federal. 

The Arab Oil Embargo

When I was 22 years old, I went to my Congressman workshops.

One Saturday, I walked into the place, upset because my gas.

It went from 29 Cents to a Dollar. It was the time of the Arab Oil Embargo. I stood up and argued that Saudi Arabia should be  invaded and their oil taken away. The story that I got was that they were upset that we supported Israel and this was punishment for this.

After one of the meetings, the congressman and an aid 

stopped me before I went home. They asked me to set 

down. The aid started telling me the truth about the Arab 

Oil Embargo. 

Venezuela

The Arab Oil Embargo was a big lie. They investigated this embargo. They met with King Saud and he said that the King was ready to sell the US all the oil it wanted. He did not understand what the problem was. I asked, them who is holding the oil back from the US market. The congressman said that it was Canada and  Venezuela that was withholding oil from the US.

Canada

Canada had a government in the 1970s that was hostile to the US. He had to be eliminated. Venezuela is a country that the US still has problems with. 

They could not hide the problem with Venezuela. It went to long. With Canada, all we had to do was wait for the next election. This is how the US got away with this lie to the American people. 

The Canadian people at that time thought we were robbing them of their Natural Resources. So did Venezuela. We did not know because we did not have a worldwide net work or an internet. Nations around the world could 

tell their people something and keep it secret from others.      

They lied about 9/11

 With 9/11, it took 16 years to get out of this mess. Take a look, we are not out 

yet but we are at a place where they can manage the situation. 

Let's see what happened when Dick Chaney's Industrialist talked them into taking Afghanistan and Iraq. They decided to attack and invade both nations. 

However, they had to make it look like they were attacking us. Afghanistan was 

hiding Bin Laden and Iraq had weapons of mass destruction that threatened US 

Security.
